Castle Classic Varsity – Greeley

This weekend, Saturday 11/16, we’ll be having our second Varsity tournament at Greeley High School located in Greeley, CO. All students need to arrive by 7am and the awards will be held around 6:30pm so please come prepared. This tournament also hosts multiple waves and most students are double-entered. Please make sure you are on-time for each of your rounds! The directions are outlined below and please review the student access page to check whether you are competing or not. Important Information

  • There will be 3 rounds with No Finals
  • Medals will be awarded places 1-6. Superior and Excellent competitors will receive ribbons.
  • Lunch will be from 12:30-1:30 but pay close attention to the postings as the tournament may run faster if possible.

    • Legislation

    The legislation for Congress can be found below. Also, students will attend the congress session in one wave, then take an extended personal privilege and go to the next wave. Lastly, students (especially debaters w/ extemp) who have doubled in an event requiring draw time (Extemp/Creative Storytelling) and they are late to draw, they will just have to deal with less draw time to keep us running on time. Please stay alert and practice the values of efficient time management and hustling.
