It needs to be signed by both student and parent/guardian and must be turned in prior to any event competition. As a reminder we will be having our first meeting today after-school at 2:45pm in Room 208. Hope to see you all there!
Hello everyone and welcome back to another great year of Pomona High School Speech and Debate. There are some big changes in store and I look forward to working with everyone new and old. At this point we’re starting small with our kick-off meeting starting at 2:45pm on September 14th, 2015 in Room 208. If you are interested in competing please make sure to stop in a pick up a flyer. Otherwise please reach out to our debate captain Jade Montoya if you have questions regarding new students joining.

Our first National Qualifier event is here and our Pomona students are ready! We have (2) pieces of legislation that will be introduced which should give us a fighting chance against the other competing schools. This tournament will be held over the course of (2) days and all students competing must attend both days.

Friday March 13, 2015 – 5pm-9pm and
Saturday March 14, 2015 – 9am-5pm
Registration will be in the Jury Assemly Room. This is different from last year. It is on the first floor of the court side of the building, toward the end of a hallway.
The security scanners close down around 5:00pm. Depending on when you arrive, you might have to go through a security check. We shouldn’t have any security check on Saturday.
On Saturday, Morning session is 9:00-12:00. Afternoon session is 1:00-4:00. Awards will be around 4:30 (as soon as we can get them calculated).
