Welcome Back – 2018/2019 Season

Welcome back to another year of Pomona Speech and Debate. I am excited to be back this year and our focus is to be better not bigger! We are currently looking for students to compete during the 2018/2019 Speech and Debate season. Our first kick-off meetings will be held this week on Monday (8/27) and Wednesday (8/29) in room 208 during lunch (12:19-12:59pm)

2017 State Qualifier

The 2017 State Qualifier is finally here. Pomona HS is a Region 3 CHSAA school and our State Qualifier will be held over two days at George Washington HS in Denver. Please make sure you’re aware of which day you need to compete and if you have any questions please contact your coach immediately!

12:00 Round III all Debates, Round II Duo, Inform, POI
2:30 Round IV all Debates, Round III Duo, Inform, POI
5:30 Awards Ceremony

Please note that even if you are only scheduled to present on Friday you must show up on Saturday to receive an award if you make it. If you cannot make the awards ceremony on Saturday please inform your coach so that we ensure that your award is collected. If you qualify at State you will be automatically qualified and registered for the State Tournament.
